Job Description
As a Technical Program Manager, you will coordinate controls engineering initiatives across a portfolio of advanced data center programs. Your role will focus on driving execution, ensuring programs are scoped, aligned, and delivered efficiently across multiple engineering disciplines. You’ll collaborate closely with TPMs, controls engineers, and leadership to streamline processes, maintain accountability, and provide clear documentation and reporting to support decision-making.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing program schedules, facilitating design reviews, tracking progress across cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment between engineering, construction, and operations. You will also help develop and optimize program tracking tools and systems to scale controls program management practices across the organization. This position begins as a 12-month contract and is fully remote.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager (TPM), ideally in infrastructure, construction, or large-scale engineering environments
- Proven ability to lead and execute complex controls programs across multi-disciplinary teams
- Technical understanding of controls engineering, including PLCs, SCADA systems, BMS, and industrial automation protocols
- Experience managing design deliverables, coordinating with engineering teams, and driving program milestones
- Proficiency with program tracking platforms and collaboration tools
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical controls concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of managing competing priorities and driving accountability across cross-functional teams
- Comfortable taking initiative to build structure and clarity in ambiguous environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working in data center environments or large-scale infrastructure programs
- Background in automation design, commissioning, or controls integration in high-complexity environments
- Demonstrated success in improving controls workflows, accelerating delivery timelines, and influencing cross-functional teams
- Experience building or optimizing program tracking systems or dashboards to support visibility and executive reporting
- Familiarity with industrial protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, OPC UA, and platforms like Rockwell, Siemens, or Schneider Electric
