Job Description
The Data Scientist will join the Machine Learning team to support a wide range of data-driven initiatives across networking, security, and language-related use cases. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to uncover insights, solve complex problems, and deploy scalable machine learning solutions.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and use visualization techniques to communicate insights.
• Ingest, clean, preprocess, and transform data for modeling; handle missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies.
• Label datasets for classification tasks and prepare data pipelines.
• Build, train, and evaluate machine learning models including CNNs, XGBoost, Transformers, Graph ML, Time Series models, and LLMs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models using formats such as ONNX and GGUF; apply model quantization and evaluation techniques.
• Solve complex data challenges using critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and domain experts to translate business needs into actionable insights.
Salary Range - $225,000-$300,000

Required Skills & Experience
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in data science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with NLP and large language models (LLMs) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Go programming language.
• Familiarity with acceleration frameworks such as RAPIDS or Spark.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience with data version control and MLOps practices.
