Job Description
Onboarding & Documentation
• Build/update new hire packet & onboarding checklist.
• Upload/download employee docs (Rippling → ADP).
• Migrate existing employee files from Rippling into ADP.
Payroll
• Learn to run ADP payroll within 6 months.
• Manage multiple payroll cycles (hourly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, commissions).
• Ensure high attention to detail (critical requirement).
Compliance & HR Support
• Apply knowledge of California labor laws.
• Maintain employee records; support compliance tracking.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and file management.
General HR Administration
• Provide direct HR/admin support to COO & HR lead.
• Comfortable learning new systems and processes quickly.
• Flexible to support projects as HR/payroll expands.

Required Skills & Experience
• ~2 years HR experience (junior generalist / HR coordinator level).
• Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, quick learner.
• Interested in HR long-term, open to mentorship/growth.
• ADP required; Rippling experience a plus.
• In-office, 5 days/week.
• Payroll exposure (CA + multi-state: TX, CO, ID, HI).
