Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to manage the development and implementation of Power BI dashboards. This role involves assisting a BI team, collaborating with stakeholders to define business needs, and delivering scalable, high-quality data visualizations that support informed decision-making. The Technical Lead ensures that system architecture and data structures align with client requirements and project in order to be aligned with the transferability with the client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate actively with stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives.
• The role also emphasizes outreach, fostering clear and consistent communication across all levels of the organization and engaging with external partners or communities when needed to support innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met
• Architect data models and ensure efficient data integration from various sources (SQL, Excel, cloud services, APIs).
• Establish and enforce best practices for Power BI development, including DAX optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Mentor and support team members to foster growth and enable scalable solutions adaptable across projects.
• Provide technical oversight throughout the development lifecycle, including code reviews and performance optimization.
• Resolve technical challenges and ensure successful project delivery through strategic planning and execution.
• Tech Lead plays a vital role in risk mitigation, process optimization, and promoting a culture of transparency and technical excellence.
• Drive quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-performing dashboards.
• Tech Lead champions transferability of knowledge by documenting best practices, mentoring team members, and enabling scalable solutions that can be adapted across projects and teams.

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications:
• Experience in BI development, with technical leadership role.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Understanding of SQL Server, Azure Data Services, or other cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
• Industry experience in finance, utilities
• Experience with data pipelines and DevOps practices for data workflows.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
