Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead the general ledger (GL) account reconciliations function for a financial institution with approximately $10bb in assets. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in reconciliation processes within credit unions or regional banks, and a strong background in automation and process improvement.
• Lead and manage GL account reconciliation strategy, execution, and governance.
• Supervise a team of 2 accountants focused on reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate processes.
• Implement and optimize automation tools, particularly BlackLine, including setup and process improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve reconciliation issues and improve controls.
• Serve as liaison with auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor aging of reconciling items and ensure appropriate reserves and write-offs.
• Contribute to broader accounting initiatives alongside peers in technical accounting and financial reporting.

Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a management role.
• MBA or CPA required.
• Hands-on experience with BlackLine, including implementation and automation.
• Prior experience in credit unions or regional banks is essential.
• Strong understanding of reconciliation processes for institutions with $5B+ in assets.
