Required Skills & Experience
Cisco ACI Expertise:
• Deep hands-on experience with APIC, fabric setup, contracts, policies, and multi-site
• Capable of troubleshooting fabric discovery issues, endpoint learning problems, Static Bindings, Bridge Domains, and L3Out configurations
• Expertise in migration and design within Cisco ACI environments, including application migration planning and execution
Cisco Nexus Deep-Dive:
• Expertise with NX-OS, vPC, FabricPath, VXLAN, EVPN
• Configuration and troubleshooting of Nexus 2k/5k/7k/9k
• Configuration and troubleshooting of Multicast routing
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ACI device provisioning and upgrades
• Routing & Switching (Advanced):
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with OSPF, BGP, route maps, redistribution, and peering
• Experience designing and implementing high-availability networks and failover scenarios
Automation and Scripting:
• Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python, used for ACI migrations and automation tasks
• Familiarity with data formats (XML, JSON) and automation tools such as NSO, Postman, and Insomnia
• Certifications:
• CCIE Data Center certification is required; however, a CCIE in Routing and Switching is also acceptable
• Leadership Skills:
• Demonstrated leadership experience, such as leading teams or projects, is required to ensure effective coordination and guidance within the engineering team
