A mortgage company in San Diego is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Post Closing Clerk to support our mortgage operations team. This entry-level role focuses on routine administrative tasks related to post-closing, including pulling loan files, organizing documentation, and assisting with file audits. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Retrieve and organize closed loan files from internal systems or physical storage.
Ensure all required documents are included and properly filed.
Assist post-closing specialists with preparing files for investor delivery.
Scan, upload, and label documents accurately in the loan origination system.
Track missing documents and follow up with internal departments as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

High school diploma with 1+ years of experience in a professional work environment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with document management systems.
Ability to work onsite 5 days a week
Previous administrative or clerical experience, ideally in mortgage or financial services.
