Job Description

A mortgage company in San Diego is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Post Closing Specialist. This role is responsible for reviewing, auditing, and finalizing loan files after closing to ensure compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit closed loan files for completeness and accuracy.
Ensure all required documents are signed, dated, and properly executed.
Ship loan packages to investors and ensure timely delivery of trailing documents.
Resolve post-closing conditions and deficiencies with internal teams and third parties.
Maintain compliance with agency and investor guidelines (e.g., Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA).
Update loan systems and track outstanding items to ensure timely resolution.

Understanding of TRIG regulations
