Insight Global is looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer that focuses heavily on software developmentprimarily in Python and Goto automate equipment and processes within a manufacturing test environment. The engineer is responsible for designing and maintaining scalable hardware test systems used globally, particularly in high-level assembly and system-level testing.
What You'll Do:
-Write code to automate hardware provisioning and diagnostics.
-Set up and managing test equipment and servers.
-Create web-based interfaces for production test systems.
-Collaborate with contract manufacturers and maintaining automation tools across multiple global sites.

-Strong proficiency in Python and Go for automation and scripting.
-Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining automation tools in a production or test environment.
-Ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code to control remote hardware and automate equipment.
-Experience in a manufacturing environment, including tasks like racking and stacking, receiving, and shipping.
-Familiarity with web frameworks for building interfaces to support test systems.
-Solid understanding of Linux systems and bash scripting.
-Knowledge of remote hardware control protocols and techniques.
