We are seeking a Product Owner to join the product platform team within a software technology organization at a major medical technology company. This role is ideal for a junior-to-early-mid-level software developer who wants to transition into a product ownership path while staying close to technical work. You will collaborate directly with developers (your primary customers) to gather feedback, define platform requirements, and help prioritize features that streamline the development experience. Youll work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other analysts to deliver value on a modern developer platform that empowers software teams across the organization.

- 2+ years of software development experience.
- Hands-on programming experience preferably with Golang or Python.
- Experience with AWS (familiarity with core services, APIs, and cloud-based development workflows).
- Strong understanding of developer workflows (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines, debugging).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical needs for non-technical stakeholders.
- Desire to transition into a product-focused role (growth mindset toward product ownership).
- Experience working in Agile environments (familiarity with work management tools like Jira, Aha, or Azure DevOps a plus).
- Experience working with SaaS or PaaS products (as a developer or tester).
- Background in building or supporting internal developer platforms or tools.
- Exposure to backlog grooming and requirements gathering.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
