Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Support Technician to join our team in San Francisco. This is a contract position with the potential to convert to a permanent role for the right candidate, contingent on headcount availability and performance.
Youll be the go-to expert for onsite technical support, delivering white-glove, Level 34 assistance in a fast-paced, Mac-centric environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, enjoys face-to-face support, and is passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Offboarding:
Hardware setup and configuration
System access provisioning
Shipping and retrieval of equipment
Running onboarding sessions and supporting monthly all-hands meetings
Hardware & Asset Management:
Laptop provisioning and purchasing
Remote device management and troubleshooting
Managing office tech (computers, printers, phones, etc.)
Technical Support:
Provide in-person support at the lock-up bar
Handle advanced support tickets and monitor Slack queues
Occasional offsite support as needed

Required Skills & Experience

Experience:
Minimum 3 years of professional IT support experience
Strong background in Mac OS environments
Experience with Lenovo and ThinkPads preferred
Technical Skills:
Proficient with Google Suite and Google Admin
Familiarity with Jamf and Okta provisioning
Comfortable using Slack, Zoom, Notion
Experience with Reftab and Allwhere hardware
Basic understanding of Zoom administration
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach
