Job Description

The Accounting Associate is responsible for assisting with financial record-keeping, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to support the accounting team. This role includes interaction with staff, customers, and companies. Regular attendance is essential to the position.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of office-based accounting experience, preferably in AP, AR, or GL functions
Understanding of debits, credits, balance sheets, and income statements
Strong attention to detail and ability to cross-reference invoices accurately
Excellent communication skillswritten, verbal, and client-facing
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Fast learner with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Education: Associates degree in accounting or equivalent experience preferred
