Insight Global is looking for a Senior .Net Developer located in India. This person should be responsible for the architecture, design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using C# and .NET Core, and RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. The Developer will implement asynchronous programming, CI/CD, and data processing workflows working with Azure DevOps, AWS cloud tools, and PostgreSQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers. Participate in code reviews, backlog refinement, and sprint planning for the re-design of an existing homegrown application used within manufacturing, engineering, and material planning. The Senior Developer will work on complex issues, define technical strategies to simplify the architecture and recommend and apply best practices for scaling the application. This is a remote role located in India, ideally based in Hyderabad, and starting as a 12 month contract.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in architecture, design and backend development using .NET technologies.
Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, C#, and SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases and cloud-native development, ideally within AWS.
Background working within Agile methodologies and Scrum Teams
Experience developing an application used within manufacturing, material planning, supply chain, engineering, procurement, or related domain.
Ability to overlap with Central Timezone as needed
Preferred location is Hyderabad, but will consider candidates remotely in India
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Passion for building impactful and user-friendly solutions.
