Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Financial Controller to join one of our clients in the Transportation field. This person will be overseeing all the financial aspects of the business and be the go-to person for most internal financial questions.
On a day-to-day basis this person will be overseeing the monthly financials with follow-up reports being created. You will then be presenting your findings to the leadership and other stakeholders. In addition, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, budgets, financial reports, and bank reconciliation. A strong candidate will be able to support all other functions related to the financial records of the company including analyzing past spending and identifying improvement. It is important to be able to communicate with external partners and outside accounting firms.
Salary: $90,000- $115,000
** 401K match, full medical, 2 weeks vacation**

Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in a controller position from a small/medium size business
- Background in a company providing a service
- Experience managing all bank reconciliations, checks and balances
- Experience in analyzing past spending and identify improvement
- Demonstrated understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) rules and regulations
-Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Excel (V-look up and Pivot tables)
-Presentation skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with ADP or similar tools
CPA license
