This is a pioneering role for a skilled Data Analyst who specializes in creating visually engaging and intuitive dashboards to support executive decision-making. You'll be the first of your kind on this operations team, responsible for turning complex operational data into clean, insightful, and executive-ready visualizations.
The work focuses on operational data (not engineering logs), including inventory metrics, materials inputs, and production planning. You'll support weekly reporting and projections that impact critical supply chain and manufacturing decisions.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Build clean, executive-level dashboards that communicate insights simply but powerfully - dashboards should be beautiful, easy to digest, and interactive
- Work with raw log data from tools like SPLUNK (cleaning will be required)
Analyze operational data such as:
- Inventory levels
- Weekly production rates
- Supply chain inputs
- Material shortfalls and procurement needs
- Collaborate with tool teams to access structured and semi-structured data - then transform it into business-ready visuals
- Develop data models for operational forecasting and create self-service dashboard features where stakeholders can interact with the data
- Present KPIs and high-level metrics through the dashboards.

- Degree in statistics, marketing, engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with operational datasets like inventory levels, production output and supply chain metrics
- Experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 5+ years work experience in quantitative research, statistics, or data analysis
- 3+ years experience with SQL/Python for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with statistical analysis, relational databases, and/or object-oriented programming languages
- Proven experience building dashboards for executives (not just engineers)
- Strong in Power BI, Google Studio, Tableau, or other modern dashboard tools (flexible on stack)
- Experience working with raw log files or semi-structured operational data
- Proficiency in SQL (basic joins and aggregations are sufficient)
- Strong experience with Python for data analysis (libraries like Pandas, NumPy welcome but flexible)
- Ability to build models and visuals from scratch based on business needs, not just technical specs
- Strong storytelling instincts - you know how to make data pop visually and contextually
Exposure to operational data from manufacturing, inventory planning, or supply chain
Prior experience in a pioneer or first-on-the-ground role
Familiarity with SPLUNK
