Job Description

Product: "StudioONE" is our suite of custom-built tools that supports every phase of a title’s lifecycle and helps ensure all Walt Disney Studios titles are produced on-time and on-budget. As the Product Owner of Executive Dashboard, which is one of the tools within StudioONE, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to create technology that streamlines operational workflows, improves visibility, and empowers studio executives to make faster, smarter decisions.


The Role:

As the Product Owner of Executive Dashboard, you will lead the evolution of a high-impact
internal tool that allows studio executives to efficiently view and manage production data across all Walt Disney Studios titles - including production timelines, runtime data, release plans, key talent information, and much more. This tool is a critical application within StudioONE, which is
our suite of custom-built tools that help ensure that all Walt Disney Studios titles are produced
on-time and on-budget.

In this role, you’ll work closely with a talented engineering team to translate complex business
needs into innovative, scalable product solutions.
You’ll synthesize input from a wide range of stakeholders, manage a dynamic backlog, and create impactful product documentation - all
while ensuring alignment with the broader Studio Technology organization’s vision and strategic
goals.

Your Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Product lead and subject matter expert for Executive Dashboard
- Write clear, actionable user stories, lead refinement sessions with project management,
and maintain a well-organized and prioritized product backlog
- Provide well-structured product documentation that enables the team to confidently and
efficiently build new features
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team - including engineering, design, and data teams - to define features, drive continuous progress, and deliver high-impact results aligned with product goals
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions to deeply understand business processes and
user needs

Required Skills & Experience

- 5 plus years experience in Product Development serving as a Product Owner
- Focus on both new feature development and operations
- Ideal product domain experience: data automation, sales/forecasting based systems
- Experience: Served as the "voice of the customer" in meetings, ensuring that our solutions are rooted in user needs and reflect a strong understanding of user priorities
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance the product and translating strategic vision into clear, actionable deliverables
- BS in Computer Science or related field with 5 plus years of experience.
- Onsite in Glendale 4x week
