An employer sitting in Petaluma, CA is looking to hire a Director of Operations. This person will be working on a 9/80 schedule in office, M-Friday with every other Friday off. This Director will be responsible for overseeing production processes for a group 3 aircraft with vertical takeoff and landing. Currently in production, they're scheduled for 85 air vehicles and they're looking to scale up to 100+ fairly rapidly. This person is going to be making sure their producing accurately and following the correct manufacturing processes. Another portion of the role will require continuous improvement efforts such as optimizing reduced waste or reducing costs etc. He/She will be responsible for 6 direct reports and providing supervisory support over logistics, plant managers, final assembly tech leads etc. This Director will be directly reporting to the Vice President of their global operations group. This position is looking to pay a salary range of $148,891 - $211,365 depending on years of experience.

- 5-10+ years of experience in aerospace production and manufacturing operations
- Obtained a Bachelor's Degree
- Rapid production scale up experience; Production oversight from lifecycle of manufacturing to shipping end to end
- Experience with continuos improvement and optimizing production processes
- Previous unmanned/uncrewed aerospace operations experience
