Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a mid-level Secret Cleared Network Engineer to support a large government customer in San Diego, CA. This person will be actively supporting a classified network infrastructure. This person will be designing, configuring, and sustaining the network design and security. Candidates should have experience with TCP/IP fundamentals, routing and switching protocols, firewall configuration. The ideal candidate will come from a cyber security background and have experience with commercial networking products on an enterprise network. An active secret clearance is required to start and candidates must be eligible for a SAP clearance.

Required Skills & Experience

Active Secret Clearance with SAP eligibility
9 years of experience as a network engineer on a classified network
Bachelors degree in engineering or related field can cover 4 years of work experience and a masters degree can qualify for 6 years of work experience
Expertise in TCP/IP fundamentals, routing and switching protocols, network design, firewalls, and virtualization
Provide technical support and wireless networking solutions
Experience working in a collaborative and dynamic environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Active CCNA or CCNP
