As a Pension Administrator, you will support our team in guiding Participants through their pension benefits, ensuring compliance, and managing various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Correspond with Participants, third parties, and vendors.
- Counsel Participants on retirement and death benefits.
- Implement benefit modifications and process death benefits.
- Calculate retirement and death benefits, and handle over/underpayments.
- Ensure compliance with Trust Agreement and laws, process legal documents, and manage IRS levies.
- Determine eligibility for health coverage and calculate benefit adjustments.
- Process retirement applications and prepare annual statements.
- Verify income and contributions, and manage marriage/divorce documents.
- Handle electronic funds transfers, international wire transfers, and monthly pension payables.
- Respond to emails, prepare claim denials, and draft appeal memos.
- Train and cross-train team members.
- Coordinate with departments and vendors, develop the Benefits Website, and assist with annual processes.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
