Insight Global is looking for an Environmental Superintendent to work for a large environmental construction company in the Bay Area. The Superintendent will direct, drive and deliver projects to completion and administer the efforts of required subcontractors. The Superintendent communicates regularly with ICS Project Managers, ICS Clients, Agency Reps, and subcontractors regarding the project, project timeline, and project startup and staffing requirements. Then there will be a daily Permit to work/AHA meeting where you discuss with the entire crew on the days activities and hazards. You will be responsible for reviewing individual assignments and ensuring equipment and tool inspections are conducted daily to ensure everything is always in good order. Being organized within this role is essential when having to maintain accurate daily notes and field logs. You will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling required subcontractors for each project as well as determining the materials needed and timing of delivery to perform work. Perform daily reports of labor, equipment, and material utilization, along with daily production to track daily job costs. Reviewing the approved budget against actual job costs and production factors for the Project Manager. Understanding the scope of work and identifying change order conditions if necessary. Perform H&S-related activities and all other duties as assigned by Management. If the driving radius required for the project you deploy to is beyond 60 miles the client will pay for mileage and drive time. This position requires timeliness and dedication.

7-10 years of experience within the construction industry
Hands-on experience excavating and grading.
Operating an Excavator over 80,000lbs
1 year of Superintendent experience or 5+ years of Foreman Experience
Experience working with Health and Safety
Experience working with a Budget how to analyze and implement it
Experience working with General Contractors or consultants
Ability to read and understand Plans, Specifications, schematics, and other construction documents
Commercial or Industrial Experience
Valid US Driver's License and reliable mode of transportation
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
40-Hr HAZWOPER or 8-Hr HAZWOPER Refresher
