Insight Global is seeking an HRIS Payroll Analyst for one of our healthcare clients in Berkeley, CA. This position will be a fully remote position; however, there are all-hands meetings occasionally throughout the year which travel to Berkeley may be required (quarterly). The position will maintain and manage the HRIS system (Paycom) with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process improvement. Additionally, the role will support payroll processing, audits, and reporting in coordination with payroll and finance teams.
Additional key responsibilities include:
· Maintain and manage the HRIS system (Paycom) with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process improvement
· Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance teams to ensure data integrity and alignment across departments
· Support on configuration, testing and implementation of HRIS modules and updates (e.g., benefits enrollment, PAFs, compensation, workflows)
· Support payroll processing, audits, and reporting in coordination with payroll and finance teams
· Create and manage custom reports and dashboards to support compliance, budgeting, and strategic initiatives
· Identify opportunities for automation and drive process improvements across the employee lifecycle
· Provide training and ongoing support to HR and department users on Paycom functionality
Serve as the point of contact for system troubleshooting and vendor support

5+ years of experience in HRIS administration in Paycom (need most recent 3 years using Paycom)
Strong understanding of HR processes & payroll operations
Understanding of California payroll laws & regulations (plus if experienced with Multistate payroll)
Experience working cross-functionally with Finance and HR teams
Proficiency in reporting, data analysis, and Excel
Familiar with Exempt & non-exempt employee under the FLSA (Fair Standard Labor Act)
Need strong internet connection
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Strong project management and communication skills
