Our client is a Global Medical Device Company comprised of over 6,000 dedicated employees. The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in the implementation of a Laboratory Information System (LIS). This is a highly prioritized project that spans across various business units. The Senior Project Manager work with the business to understand workstreams, define manage deliverables, and execute on the project plan, which has already been created. This person will also manage relationships with the vendor. The successful candidate will be an energetic and clear communicator who has deep experience in IT project management. This position will sit onsite in San Diego, CA 5 times/week. Additional responsibilities include:
IT PM will be accountable for the entire implementation and end-to-end project plan.
o Will be working with a Business PM and managing a Vendor PM.
Executive presence required to facilitate governance and steering committee meetings, in addition to weekly project cadence.
All basic project management skills required:
o Project management
o Team management
o Budget management
o Risk & issues management
o Good communication skills and practices
Compensation:
$85/hr to $110/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
