Our client in the entertainment and music industry is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant II to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of accounting experience and will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including corporate allocations, account reconciliations, and treasury functions. This role requires proficiency in JDEdwards and Concur, as well as strong analytical and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations (8 AM - 5 PM):
-Assist with corporate allocations and account reconciliations.
-Prepare and maintain balance sheets.
-Record journal entries within JDEdwards.
-Participate in the month-end close process, including closing books and cleaning suspense accounts.
-Approve and code expense reports using Concur.
-Perform treasury duties, including AP treasury functions and processing wires.
-Assist with clearing positive pay and other treasury-related tasks.
-Collaborate with the bank reconciliation team.
-Help code invoices and maintain the chart of accounts.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in JDEdwards and Concur.
