The Robot Systems Integrator is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing robotic experiments. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, test, and deploy robotics solutions in real-world applications.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the build of in-house robots
* Run robot experiments on physical robot
* Run robot experiments on fair cluster
* Lab tools order and setup
* Develop and maintain testing fixtures and assets specifically for robot evaluations.
* Perform debugging and initial troubleshooting during the early stages of robot testing, ensuring attention to detail and effective communication.
* Employ state-of-the-art methodologies to establish benchmarks for projects.
* Once robot is up and running and initial tests are complete, will oversee the data collection efforts on robots and act as an operations POC and a first line of support on robots

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
* Proficient in Linux, ROS (ROS1 and ROS2), Python, and version control with Git
* Knowledge of robot hardware, sensors, and actuators. LIDAR and IMU sensors specifically
* Experience designing and managing the integration of robotic systems, including cameras, sensors, GPUs, and control hardware, ensuring their functionality through rigorous testing.
* Proven examples of robotic project work and ability to set up a test framework. Ability to perform debugging and initial troubleshooting during early stages of robot testing.
* Experience training and deploying deep learning models
* Project experience around reinforcement and machine learning. Skilled in applying machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn
