Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support identity verification and authentication models.
Collaborate with data scientists to prepare data for model training, validation, and deployment.
Implement and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure continuous and reliable data integration.
Work with the software development team to integrate data engineering solutions into the broader product architecture.
Ensure data governance and compliance with relevant data privacy and security
regulations.
Engage with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate these into
technical specifications.
Document data engineering processes and contribute to best practices

Required Skills & Experience

Azure Databricks (ML Flow, model serving)
Synapse Analytics & Pipelines
Strong skills in Python/Spark SQL
Experience with PowerBI
Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of related experience in data warehousing, data pipelining, and other big data technologies.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP), with a preference for Azure.
Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks.
Proven experience in designing and implementing data engineering solutions, with a strong focus on data models and data architecture, ideally in the travel and leisure
industry

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with real-time data pipelines (Kafka, event hubs, Spark streaming) is a
plus
Strong knowledge and/or experience in building a
DataLakeHouse is a plus.
