Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a California-licensed civil engineer with a strong background in land development plan review, project management, capital projects, and city engineering. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and the ability to work effectively in Ventura County and Northern LA County.

Oversee and finalize comprehensive reviews of land development plans to ensure compliance with local, state, federal regulations and project-specific conditions of approval utilizing support from plan checking support staff.
Manage and oversee capital projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Provide support to City Engineer in city engineering projects, including civil infrastructure design, construction, and maintenance.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, developers, contractors, and community members, to facilitate project success.
Coordinate with the design team and review detailed reports, plans, and specifications for engineering projects for meeting client schedules across multiple public agency clients.
Utilize project management tools and techniques to monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.

Required Skills & Experience

Valid California Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development plan review, project management, capital projects, and city engineering.
Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to land development and civil engineering.
