A client in the San Diego area is looking for a Secret Cleared Quoting/Capabilities Coordinator to join their team. his role is responsible for generating accurate, timely quotes (ROMs) for specific repair jobs and ensuring our internal capabilities align with government expectations for quality, speed, and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic repair processes, a high level of professionalism, and experience interacting with government personnel or working within formal, regulated environments.
The ideal candidate will:
Prepare accurate, detailed quotes for specific electronic repair jobs requested by government clients.
Interpret technical assessments from shop leads and repair technicians to create quotes that reflect time, materials, labor, and any special service requirements.
Maintain clear, compliant documentation for all quotes and communications in alignment with government standards and internal policies.
Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure accurate capability representation in quotes, including parts availability, turnaround time, and capacity.
Communicate directly with government personnel, ensuring professionalism, clarity, and responsiveness in all interactions (email, phone, and in-person).
Track quoting performance metrics such as quote turnaround time, quote-to-approval ratio, and revision frequency to improve processes.
Ensure all quotes align with existing contract terms, pricing agreements, and compliance requirements.
Assist in documenting and improving internal quoting workflows and repair capabilities, ensuring scalability and quality.

-5 years of experience in quoting, estimating, or technical coordination in an electronic repair, manufacturing, or service business.
- Strong understanding of repair processes for electronics (e.g., circuit boards, communication equipment, industrial or military devices).
-Proficiency with quoting tools, spreadsheets, inventory systems.
-Previous experience working with government clients or contracts is highly desirable.
- Experience with OneTouch and Haystack is a plus.
