An employer in down San Diego is looking for a Communications Specialist. This person will be supporting change management of a multi-year software roll out for a new MES system. The Comms Specialist will be interfacing with the business to understand use cases, conducting polls, interviews, coordinating necessary parties for meetings, provide clear and engaging content and updates on Sharepoint, and helping to prepare powerpoint presentations. This roll out will be multi-year impacting all areas of the business. This is a contract roll, sitting onsite five day a week at Harbor Drive in downtown San Diego.

-3+ years of experience as a Communications Specialist, Associate Change Manager, or related role
-Prior experience supporting an Enterprise software rollout, or large IT initiative
-Outstanding communication, both verbal and written
-Ability to connect with and interface with many types of internal team members
-Self-starter attitude with intrinsic ability to take initiative and ownership of work
-Organization and project management skills utilizing MS Office Suite tools
-Prior experience being involved in MES project
