Job Description

As part of the Technology Program Management team supporting the Production Technology Architecture team, you'll join a passionate group of technologists addressing complex challenges in dynamic, production-centric, and data-driven environments.

We are seeking an Project Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and ensure operational excellence.

- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of high-visibility, complex projects spanning internal departments and external vendors.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, tracking progress, risks, issues, and resource needs.
- Manage day-to-day activities for project team members, ensuring blockers are removed and team throughput is maximized.
- Lead sprint ceremonies, including planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, and reporting.
- Drive release planning, communication, and coordination to ensure smooth production rollouts.
- Escalate project and team-related issues to management as needed.
- Lead large-scale, complex projects that span internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors.
- Oversee quarterly portfolio planning, project road mapping, resource capacity planning, and defining objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Maintain KPI dashboards to track program metrics using tools like MS Power BI.
- Establish and track OKRs to align project outcomes with organizational goals.
- Assess, acquire, and maintain project management tools to support team operations.
- Manage Jira boards to ensure alignment of workflows with team processes.
- Track and report on licensing costs for software.
- Organize and maintain project documentation and artifacts in a clear and accessible manner.
- Provide production support, resolving issues efficiently.
- Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders, managing work intake, providing weekly status updates, and communicating risks, blockers, and priorities.
- Monitor resource time tracking and identify staffing needs to optimize project delivery.
- Establish, track, and report on project progress (key tasks and milestones), risks, and issues, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders and program management.
- Create workflow diagrams to identify opportunities for streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
- Deliver clear, engaging presentations and business cases to drive decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7 plus years of experience in technical project management, utilizing both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Project domain background: AI, Cloud(multi-platform: Azure, Google, and AWS) - AI/Systems/Cloud projects
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects, including data-focused and production-oriented initiatives.
- Strong background in managing cross-functional technical teams, including software developers and IT operations.
- Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet) and process mapping tools (e.g., Lucid Chart).
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Project Tools(PPM Tools):
- Proficiency with Agile tools (Jira), Microsoft Office/Google/Atlassian Suites, process mapping/diagramming software, Monday.com, Smartsheet's, and other project tools.
- Local to Burbank: some onsite required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience working in media, entertainment, or production environments.
- Consulting experience.
- Certifications such as PMP or Scrum Master (CSM).
