Insight Global is looking to hire a AWS App Support Engineer for a prominent client in San Diego. The need is driven by the client's vendor desiring a new component in AWS. It is crucial this candidate has a strong background in toubleshooting web applications (not solely provisioning them), who has experience deploying AWS using native services like EMR, Lambda, S3 buckets, etc. and supporting AWS infrastructure. Their day-to-day will consist of driving the technical roadmap with the customer by discussing best practices for provisioning and deploying applications on AWS in addition to hands-on technical work creating and implementing CI/CD pipelines, enabling Datadog APM to ensure the applications are running smoothly, creating proactive monitoring tools, detailed documentation of the process, and supporting the production release.
Compensation: $80-90/hour

5+ years experience supporting and debugging enterprise applications
3+ years experience provisioning and deploying applications on AWS
5+ years experience implementing DevSecOps frameworks
Expertise in scripting (python/shell) and very clear communication skills to be able to drive technical roadmap discussions with vendor and business teams
AWS Solution Architect certification required
