An employer is looking for a consultant to join a Utility client in Southern California that will support the QA/QC of project closeout documents.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify design drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
- Conduct thorough QA/QC inspections of design documentation to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure design drawings meet project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of project closeout documentation, including as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and other required documents.
- Maintain organized records of QA/QC activities and documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on QA/QC matters.
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements throughout the QA/QC process.
This position is paying between 60-70hr

- 2+ years of experience working in an engineering design environment
- 1+ years working within Utilities (oil x gas, water, power generation)
- Recent exposure to an electrical environment
- Experience reviewing design drawings and performing QA/QC for project close out
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Great multitasking skills
