Job Description

The Senior Construction PM is responsible for leading complex, high-risk projects that span across multiple business units. They manage resources, schedules, financials, and adhere to stage-gate quality and control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. Their role includes proactively addressing challenges, risks, and change requests to ensure successful, on-time, and within-budget project delivery. Additionally, they contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing project outcomes. At this level, the Senior Project Manager oversees projects with greater complexity, larger scopes, and longer timelines. These projects often involve innovative or advanced design and construction techniques, alternative contracting methods, and intricate facilities features. The role demands strong communication, diplomacy, and influence skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

20-30% travel nationwide is required for this role. Travel is typically one week per month during the first 3 months for onboarding and training at the corporate office in Pomona, CA. After onboarding, travel transitions to quarterly or as needed for major client meetings or project milestones. Overnight stays will depend on project location and schedule.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in construction project management
Excellent experience in project management Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC/ Waterfall
Experience in fast paced remodel, tenant-improvement, multi-site roll out
Strong background with Big-Box Retail, QSR/Fast Casual Restaurants
Ability to manage multiple sites and crews/teams at any given time
Good understanding of MEP Building Systems
Familiarity with Project Management software
Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate, and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

OSHA 30 Certification or knowledge of construction safety protocols is a plus.
