A distinguished University in Los Angeles is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join the engineering/development team within Enterprise Applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in both front and back-end development with specific, demonstrated proficiency in Talend ETL tools doing Talend integrations with a variety of higher education specific applications.
Working under the direction of the Manager of Identity & Software Solutions, the contractor will program, implement, and customize software solutions specific to the university environment, focusing on data integration and management. About 50% of their time will be dedicated to development, 30% to support and incident response, and 20% working with/gathering requirements with stakeholders. They will also be troubleshooting, working on process improvement, and some incident response. This role is remote PST hours (8am-5pm). Since this is a short contract they expect this person to hit the ground running and not need much training on Talend integrations.

-3+ years of experience developing in Talend (Talend ESB slightly preferred over Talend ETL)
-5+ years full stack development experience overall
-Experience with Oracle database and SQL Server
-Strong communication and proactive problem solving skills - someone who is a self-starter
