Pay: 60-72/hr
Job Summary: The HR Advisor will play a crucial role in the implementation of an ERP system for a public sector client. This position involves advising on better HR processes, guiding the setup and functioning of HR operations, ensuring effective data input and management, and managing change throughout the implementation. The HR Advisor will work closely with the project team and act as the point of contact for the HR division on the ERP implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Improvement: Advise on and implement better HR processes, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
HR Operations: Guide and oversee the setup and functioning of HR operations, including position control and job classification.
Data Management: Ensure accurate data input and management within Tyler Munis.
Project Collaboration: Work closely with the project team, including attending meetings with Tyler Munis representatives.
Public Sector Expertise: Provide insights and advice based on public sector experience, considering protections for staff and unique organizational needs.
Union Coordination: Assist with union onboarding and related HR processes.
Position Control: Develop and implement processes for position control, job classification, and authority management.
Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transition and adoption of Tyler Munis technology and processes.
Qualities:
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Strong communication skills, capable of working within a dynamic team with multiple stakeholders.
Innovative and experienced in consulting on HR processes.
Ability to create processes from scratch.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
Extensive experience in the public sector or with public entities.
Proven track record in setting up HR teams, procedures, processes, and forms.
Experience with HR ERP systems, preferably Tyler Munis.
Project experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
HR generalist experience with a wide variety of HR tasks and responsibilities.
Experience managing HR operations is beneficial.
Experience in change management and leading organizational transitions.
Additional HR certifications, especially those related to government, are a plus.
Tyler Munis experience.
Experience with public employers.
