The Customer Success Self-service team is looking for a highly talented, self-driven, proven software engineer to take on the challenge of building Messaging Experiences for PayPal. As an engineer in our iOS development team, you will be responsible for the development of key building blocks of Messaging platform like Chat, Inbox and Email SDKs and integrate with various tenants like PayPal, Venmo, Hyperwallet etc to build UI experiences that keep customers engaged and self-serve.
We are looking for software engineers who are innovative, curious, fast-learning, and versatile, to join the team to develop the next-generation of Self Service solutions that will change how billions of users self-resolve issues. You will work closely with product, architects and other teams to understand the business needs and deliver solutions to meet their needs. We will pay from $52-60hr
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Implements solutions for specific use cases that provide frameworks, interfaces, and services that can be extended and reused for future requirements
Collaborate with architects, technical leads, product, UX designers and engineers to understand the requirement and implement the solution.
End to end execution from developing new features, review PRs, testing, automation and release code to production
Drive innovation in the team and bring in new market trends and solutions to the team

B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science
5+ years of Web development experience
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, TypeScript and frameworks like React, Angular and server-side languages like Node.js
Optimization for speed and scalability, adherence to accessibility standards and SEO best practices, and thorough testing across various browsers and devices are key priorities.
Experienced in version control systems like Git and collaboration tools such as Jira, they manage tasks and workflows efficiently.
Continuous learning and adaptation to evolving technologies are integral to their role.
Skilled at writing Unit and Functional Automation tests
