Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Cook for a higher education client local to Riverside, CA. You will play a crucial role in preparing and serving meals to students, faculty, and staff. Youll work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that food is prepared safely, efficiently, and meets quality standards. Shift will include weekends and shift times may vary.

Required Skills & Experience

3 years of experience in food preparation and kitchen maintenance.
Experience in a high volume food service operation or restaurant.
Experience operating large production or retail kitchen equipment.
Basic understanding of food preparation, handling, recipes, batch cooking etc.
Experience in executing a range of standard cooking techniques, including but not limited to braising, broiling, grilling, stir-frying, blanching, steaming, sautéing, frying, baking, proofing, and glazing.
Ability to work overtime and a non standard schedules.
Valid Driver's License

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Culinary School Certificate or degree.
Higher Education Dining Experience.
Leadership Experience
