Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior Merchant Underwriter for one of our largest payment processing clients. You will be reporting to the Underwriting Manager, reviewing, analyzing, and making confident risk decisions and recommendations for merchant applications and existing merchants. We are looking for someone who can understand and apply best practice guidelines, collect and analyze exposure and loss data, and respond efficiently and effectively to internal and external requests. The ideal candidate is a qualified and experienced credit Underwriter with a history of reviewing travel, airline, and cruise business models. You will be mostly responsible for the credit risk assessment, finance analysis and risk mitigation, but will also have responsibilities including relationship management, compliance, and reporting.

- 5+ years experience in an Underwriting role within a payment industry
- Experience conducting detailed credit analysis
- Experience making credit risk decisions and presenting to C -level executives
- Experience training / mentoring more junior underwriters
- Experience reviewing travel, airline, cruise, retail, hospitality, and restaurant business models
