As the Downstream Area Operations Manager, you will be tasked with all managerial and technical functions for the California region. Primarily, this role focuses on customer application and support to increase company footprint in the area. The other main functions of the Area Operations Manager include:
- Building long-term strategic partners through strong customer interaction and business improvement initiatives
- Leading day-to-day operations of existing refinery chemical processes
- Developing, delivering, and leading business reviews and technical performances to customer leadership
- Directly manage a team of employees in the area
This role offers a competitive compensation package with a target salary range of $150-175k. Including performance bonus potential, benefits, a company vehicle, 401k.

5+ years of Refinery Operations/Downstream experience
Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or Related Field
Strong business acumen and project management background
Sales/Customer Service experience
