Kafka Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Consulting
Expert to provide guidance and leadership in the design, architecture, optimization, and
operation of stretched Kafka clusters. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in distributed
systems, Apache Kafka, and multi-region deployments, combined with a proven ability to solve
complex problems in high-availability and low-latency environments

Strech Kafka Expert

Experience with Cloudera Streaming, Cloudera Streams Processing, Apache Flink, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and schema registries.

Bachelors or Masters Degree

7+ years of experience with Apache Kafka, including 3+ years focused on stretched or
multi-region Kafka cluster deployments.

Expertise in distributed systems design, network optimization, and data replication
strategies.

Deep understanding of Kafka internals, including brokers, producers, consumers,
ZooKeeper/KRaft, and replication protocols.

Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and cloud
providers (Azure).

Experience with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and schema registries.

Knowledge of security best practices, including encryption, authentication, and
authorization in Kafka clusters.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker,
Kubernetes).

Certifications in Apache Kafka or related technologies are a plus
