Parcel Shipping Consultant

Job Description:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Parcel Shipping Consultant to join our team on a 6-12 month contract. This fully remote role involves building and evaluating Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to select a vendor for a parcel shipping system.
Responsibilities:
Develop and evaluate RFPs to identify the best vendor for a parcel shipping system.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure they are reflected in the RFP.
Analyze and compare vendor proposals to determine the best fit for the organization.
Provide expert advice on parcel shipping systems and transportation systems.
Utilize consulting experience to guide the selection process and ensure optimal outcomes.
Leverage ProShip experience to enhance the evaluation process (preferred).

Qualifications:
Proven experience with parcel shipping systems or transportation systems.
Demonstrated ability to build and evaluate RFPs.
Strong consulting background with a focus on logistics and transportation.
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with ProShip or similar parcel shipping solutions.
Familiarity with industry best practices and trends.
Strong project management skills.
