Job Description

Day to Day:



Insight Global is seeking a self-motivated individual responsible for a variety of program, project, and grant management. They will also work in policy, legislative and regulatory analysis and advocacy work related to legislative issues and other topics. They are responsible for performing a variety of work related to project management, program management, and legislative and regulatory analysis. The scope of work may include, but is not limited to, clean water, wastewater treatment, watershed, delta, groundwater, climate change, and other legislative-related topics, programs and/or projects. This position may provide supervision to clerical and temporary staff.



* Technical and Analytical Skills: Conduct technical research, analyze complex data, and develop effective solutions, including interpreting and applying environmental laws and regulations.

* Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Clearly communicate scientific and technical information to the public, maintain effective working relationships, and respond tactfully to concerns. Prepare and present reports to various groups.

* Project Management and Organizational Skills: Work independently, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and lead complex projects. Monitor and control project schedules, and organize and prioritize work assignments effectively.



Compensation: $52/hr to $656/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

· 4+ years' experience in advocacy or legislative and regulatory research and analysis

· Strong project or program management experience

· Ability to prepare legal documents, support grant writing, and understand policy analysis

· Comfortability engaging with external policy and regulatory groups on the regional level

Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:

· Master's Degree from accredited college or university

· Grant experience
