Job Description

- Perform multiple job functions within the Department and provide exceptional member service.
- Communicate professionally with members, Golden 1 staff, government agencies, and other outside agencies.
- Prepare legal documents and respond to member requests.
- Perform account maintenance processes.
- Prepare levies, garnishments, district attorney and immigration letters for processing.
- Process and maintain three or more of the following areas: zero balance accounts, proxies, privacy Opt Out notices, non-resident alien accounts, foreign account reports, safe deposit box report, dormant and escheatable requests, VOD deposits and member rating requests, photocopies from various systems and applications, specialty accounts, research request, B-Notices, Social Security, address changes.
- Post required fees to member accounts, and balance credits/debits at the end of each day.
- Handles general inquiries and questions from members on B-Notice's sent by the credit union.
- Gather and prepare Daily Teller work for balancing.
- Prepare and index documents for scanning.
- Maintain strict confidentiality on member account transactions and credit union information.
- Create and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Notify management immediately regarding any member concerns or errors.
- Actively support company goals and initiatives.
- Works under general supervision.
- Meet production deadlines daily while cognizant with quality and quantity in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position.

6 months of financial/banking experience
