Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Learning and Development Leader to design, implement, and drive initiatives that enhance the technical and leadership capabilities of customers, employees and partners. Candidates will have proven experience in managing curriculum development for certification and technical training programs and technical documentation for cloud networking products. Candidates will also have experience designing for a blended learning environment including: e-learning design and development; virtual training and distance learning (e.g., webinars); classroom/instructor-led-training; and on-the-job training and mentoring. They should have experience and understanding of the learning ecosystem, managing content development and distribution with partners, and experience creating effective knowledge management strategies. This is a Senior Manager/Director level role in a top cloud networking company. The primary responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
Define and develop the learning programs and knowledge management strategies and processes to develop a clear and effective learning ecosystem for our organization.

Define and develop the learning content plans, leverage existing content, enhance current certifications and processes to ensure rapid, flexible development and maintenance of effective technical training materials, and programs for all our stakeholders including customers and employees.

Lead your team to analyze business needs, prioritize program and content roadmaps, then design and develop the programs and associated curriculum, assessments, and training materials to meet those needs.

Have significant experience in working with a set of strategic partners on all the aspects of learning development lifecycle, content development and program delivery.
Lead a team of internal L&D professionals, establish metrics and measure the effectiveness of the learning programs.

Leverage e-learning platforms, virtual labs, and other digital tools to deliver effective, accessible training solutions.
Stay updated on the latest trends in L&D technologies and methodologies, incorporating best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

An undergraduate degree in either a management, technical, education or related field;
7+ years of experience in learning and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a technology or preferably a networking-focused company.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective learning strategies at scale.
Expertise in using L&D tools such as LMS platforms, virtual labs, and performance analytics, online learning technologies, and virtual delivery technologies is a must.
Experience applying adult learning principles, agile methods, learning technology and program management skills together in the design, development and maintenance of learning solutions.
Experience managing the design and development of assessments and certification or accreditation programs will be a bonus.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
Experience managing budgets and external vendor relationships.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of networking technologies (e.g., Arista, Cisco, Juniper)
Certifications such as CCIE, CCNA, Arista Certification
Masters degree
