SOX and Compliance Analyst

Day to Day:
-Coordinate walkthroughs both internally with process owners and externally with auditors
-Identifying risks and controls and prepare test scripts
-Document tests of design and tests of effectiveness for key controls
-Asses the results of SOX testing, including the assessment of identified control deficiencies, and work with the process owners on ensuring timely remediation
-Ensure testing is completed effectively and efficiently
-Maintain the company's SOX compliance application
-Conduct thorough and detailed audit of financial processes
-Reporting, ensuring Audit boards are up to date
-They have an offshore team that does majority of the testing and documentation, this person will be reviewing a lot of the work, making comments/edits, and getting it finalized to meet the company's standards

Must Haves:
-BA/BS in accounting, finance, management information systems, business, or other relevant degree
-5+ years relevant work experience in SOX compliance, internal or external audit, preferably in public accounting
-Experience conducting SOX audits and assessing internal controls
-Knowledge of SOX regulations and their application in a corporate environment
-Analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks and recommend solutions
-Experience with Sox hub or Audit boards
-ERP Systems, SAP, Snowflake experience

CPA or CIA is strongly preferred
