A client in the San Dimas/Pasadena, CA area is looking for a Sr API Developer. This role will require 3 days a week onsite. This position requires programming skills, involved in the development of software applications. Knowledge of programming languages to develop necessary specifications for the software by following the technical designs. In specific cases, knowledgeable on Agile/iterative development methodologies will be required (and called out).

8+ years overall experience as a developer within similar technologies/domains listed below
Extensive experience (5+ years) designing and developing REST APIs
5+ years development experience with Java, Spring boot (backend), and Python
3+ years working within AWS Cloud (SQS preferred)
3+ years working within MySQL Database
Familiarity and working knowledge of Multithreading (Specifically within a large volume of API 50-100 TPS)
Agile, 2 week sprints
Bachelors degree
