A client is looking for a remote EWP Designer to join their growing team out of California. The designer will be expected to:
- Read and Interpret architectural and structural documents.
- Produce EWP design layout(s) for floor(s) and roof.
- Perform single member beam sizing with design software provided.
- The ability to calculate load paths through a structure.
- Ability to optimize designs for maximum efficiency while meeting the local codes requirements and customer preferences.
- Communicate effectively with customers, architects, engineers, builders and internal staff.
Be self-motivated, detail oriented and have the ability to work independently.

Minimum of two years experience as an EWP designer or similar
Must have beam and joist design expertise
MiTek Sapphire design software
