Our client who is a leader in medical technology and software applications is seeking a dedicated Backend Java Engineer to join their team supporting their Online Store. As a Backend Java Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining their e-commerce solutions. You will work mainly on back-end components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Day to Day:
- Maintain scalable and robust web applications using Java and related technologies.
- Implement and customize e-commerce solutions on the Elastic Path platform.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with various front-end and third-party applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in the software development and e-commerce spaces.
- Knowledge of Java Message Service (JMS) concepts and their implementation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
