An employer is looking for a junior CAD Designer in either Diamond Bar, CA, Tucson or Phoenix, AZ to join a civil engineering team that supports solid waste infrastructure projects. The CAD Designer will start their role within pure CAD drafting and eventually move into more CAD designing primarily within land development and heavy civil infrastructure including mass and detailed grading, drainage, roads, tanks, pipelines, concrete structures using AutoCAD Civil 3D. With the guidance from senior designers, this person will produce 2D and 3D drawings using 3D visualization of terrain, cut and fill slopes, concrete structures, and pipelines from concept sketches.
Salary: $55-70k depending on experience
