Insight Global is searching for a Test Engineer to join one of largest technology clients in the Bay Area. This experienced test technician / engineer to support our new autonomous driving features development. Some of the responsibilities for this role are:
· Develop on-track and on-road test scenarios and procedures to comprehensively assess Active Safety functions and L2 (and above) autonomous driving
· Independently bring up vehicle, perform in-car testing and record test results
· Provide reliable and consistent judgment of product quality from the perspective of end user based on evidence collected from tests
· Coordinate with operations team to arrange logistics for testing, including the setup and tear down of NCAP targets
· Report product issues in a timely and structured manner using an issue management system (JIRA)
Depending on skillset and years of experience, this role can pay an hourly rate of $60-$75/hour.

+3 years of technical experience coming from an automotive background
-Capable of doing in-car testing for long hours at a time
-Proven track record of creating test plans, executing test cases to collect product health metrics and reporting the results back with detailed documentation
-Basic experience in C++, Python, and Linux
-Valid drivers license
