Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Packaging Engineer to sit in Santa Clara, CA for one of our top clients. As a Packaging Engineer, you will work closely with several teams to define the core strategic component initiatives. This candidate will also make decisions every day to improve product robustness, reliability, supply continuity and reduce cost. You will spend ~50% of your time working in the NPI process and ~50% in sustaining. Strong leadership, communications, and team-building skills are essential. Ability to creatively solve problems and develop sustainable solutions and processes.

This role can pay between $45-$59/hour depending on skillset and years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience with protective packaging design in the electronics
Strong analytical skills and experience in Pro-Engineer and ArtiosCAD
Specific knowledge of modern packaging materials and fabrication processes and the trade-offs associated with their use
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working with physical networking products
Program/Project Management experience preferred
